Ada Alfonso, Massachusetts Board of Electricians
Our first meeting of this calendar year is Wednesday September 18 at 6pm
We will be meeting at Anthony's 105 Canal St. Malden
We start this years calendar with Ada Alfonso the following is a message from her on what she plans on covering;
Thank you for the opportunity to speak to the membership.
I think that so many of the changes that we have made this past year has been because we have been able to listen to the licensees and inspectors. Below is a list of items that I will be talking about but I also like to have this as an opening listening session. So if anyone has questions that they want to share with everyone or if they just need to pull me aside as some point during the night, I will be available. I encourage apprentices to attend this meeting as they always have questions about CORI, qualifying to take the exam, expired/expiring hours.
· The tremendous success that we had with renewal and the importance of the ePortal account going forward.
· New matters before the board:
· Legislative Advisory Counsel working on our MGL's
· Mission to reinstate licenses that expired in 2016 or prior
· Registering Apprentices
· New Exams
· Continuing Education and Hot Work Training
· And anything else that you think is important and relevant.
Thank you, Ada
